Turning the BIG O-N-E!

Well I have finally rested up from my big birthday bash! It was so fun to play with all of my many friends that came to help me celebrate my big day! I must say my Mommy sure knew how to sugar me up...and I loved it! Candy, Cupcakes, Chocolate fountains, Ice Cream Sundae's...what more could a girl ask for!?!?!?!

Thanks to each of you for all my new fun clothes and toys...Mommy said I can't possibly get another toy in my playroom! It is wall to wall FUN!

I sure was pooped from all the excitement and enjoyed my after party nap with my Mimi while Mommy, Daddy, Shish, Papa, Aunt Nicole, and Mrs Carol cleaned up the big mess I left. Boy, that Mimi sure has the touch!

Happy Birthday Eve to Me!

Well I just wanted to give a little shout out to all the girls that helped me and my mommy today to help mommy get ready for my BIG BASH tomorrow. My Aunt Brittany and BFF, Grier brought Mommy, Me, and Mimi lunch today and then she watched me for a few hours while they went to decorate the clubhouse where my party is goin' down tomorrow!

I heard my Aunt Shish made a stop by to help out too! Mommy and Daddy gave me a fun new car...boy my Daddy is a crazzzy driver...we were doin' wheelies and taken those turns pretty fast :)

Mommy and Mimi were out doing some last minute decorating and shopping until Mid-Night tonight...and Daddy stayed home with me...I am sure am glad he came home from DC today, we missed him!

Also, for all those that aren't able to make it tomorrow, thank you for sending me the sweet gifts...Mommy took them down to the party and I will get to open them tomorrow!

Thanks again, Mimi, Brittany, and Shish for helping my Mommy out, she couldn't do it without you girls! Well, I better go get some beauty rest, I have a BIG day tomorrow....I am turning 1!!!!

I have been a busy little girl with 3 birthday parties in the past two weeks...and now mine is coming up too! This party stuff is soooo fun! But Mommy is about to drive me crazy with all these birthday errands we have been running...does it ever end?!?!? I mean, i am only 1...what a bash she is planning for me, she is crazy! And Mimi isnt to far off...

I took my Mimi to lunch on Sunday with those crazy nephews of mine, Wyatt and Jackson. She was so surprised to see them and we also had another surprise for her. We went and got ANOTHER picture taken for her with all her grandkids...she just loved it!

My 1st new hair-do!!!

I know it has been a long time since I have signed on, so I have alot to fill you all in on....but the craziest thing happened today, Mommy, Daddy, Mimi, and Aunt April took me to this fancy place with all kinds of shiny sharp things that they used to make peoples hair shorter...well little did I know that was what I was there for too.

Mrs. Krista (who has done my Mimi and Mommy's hair for 10+ years) gave me my very first new hair-do! Daddy brought me a yummy Cherry Icee to help me stay still. She took alittle of the sides to even me out...Mommy and Daddy were a bit apprehensive about it...they say I look like a BIG girl now...hello, I will be ONE next week! Mommy even had to close her eyes...she said she couldn't watch...Daddy monitored Mrs. Krista close to make sure she did not take too much off! Mimi (aka the Papparizzi) and Aunt April were there also take pictures and video for us!

Parties, Parties, and more Parties!

I have had quite the busy week... I meet a crazy silly dressed up man, I think they called him...Santa, we had a Christmas luncheon, went to Daddy's Christmas party, and had a Present-Extravaganza with The Lewrights! I have never seen so many presents....this gift thing is pretty great! I have definitely figured out how to rip that paper open...but Mommy always takes it away from me...because, well I do eat it! :) She also rearragned the Christmas tree...those shiny things are so tempting to touch and throw. Mommy and Daddy put all these big boxes under the tree with my name on them...boy, I can't wait to see what they are!

Santa wasn't as scary as I thought he would be...he was nice enough to give me a candy cane and that made me like him! I didn't even cry...Grier was there supporting me! Mommy and Daddy also took me to Opryland to see all those lights...wow, I have never seen so many!

Last night Grier and me got to open these big boxes...we found a few surprises in there...icicles, milk jugs, and a BIG YELLOW BALL! Boy it was fun, but man was I worn out! We had a big yummy dinner and lots of fun.....I sure am gonna miss my friends while there in Texas!

Daddy was telling me about everyone that is coming to see me for Christmas tonight...my Nina, ?, JJ, Rossy, Do and Dede! I can't wait to show them all the new things I can do, they will be so proud of me!

Better be good this week, I hear this Santa guy is watching me!

Baby Food is for the BIRDS!

Well today was quite an adventure for me! Mommy has finally realized I am over this baby food stuff and finally gave up and is giving me the yummy stuff that she and Daddy eat!
I ate all kinds of good stuff....Italian Chicken, Broccoli, Brown Rice...and even Blueberries! She even took me to the store and bought me some CHEESE GRITS for breakfast...finally some real Southern food!
That baby food is for the BIRDS!

I also showed off my walking skills today....Daddy was so impressed that I can walk/run so far all by myself! He is taking me to see Santa on Friday at his favorite store, Bass Pro Shops.....I hope this Santa guy doesn't expect to much from me...I hear he looks kind of funny! Stay tuned for my Santa pictures!

"Girls Gone Cheap!"

I got to join all the girls this weekend, at the "Girls Gone Cheap" get-away! My Cousins, Aunts and Great Aunt, Mimi, and Mommy took me to a cabin out in the woods on Tims Ford Lake. They are all so goofy...they made crazy ornaments, played silly games, decorated a Charlie Brown Tree...boy, I thought they were more creative! They ate so much food...and they shared a bit with me too....

Me, Mommy, and Mimi all had matching PJ's with sock monkeys....My great grandfather used to wear these socks and Mimi, Shish, & Aunt Frances would use them as Stockings at Christmas time...so everyone got a good laugh out of the 3 generations of Sock Monkeys!!!

I sure hope I get to go back next year...they fed me all kinds of goodies! I also got lots of toys and clothes from everyone...it was my first glimpse of this present thing....and I must say I LOVED IT! Although the toys were great....I must tell you all about these shiny, silver, stringy things they let me play with...I think Mommy called them "ICICLES!" Boy did I have a blast with those!

After a long relaxing weekend, we rested up and then Mommy and Mimi took me to get my Christmas pictures taken! Boy, they sure don't get it....I have had enough pictures already!!!!
